With over 15 years in the trades and 10 years as a construction safety professional, Robert has managed the safety function at a $400 million project, secured complex OSHA permits, written Stormwater Protection Plans, and conducted countless training seminars in construction safety, equipment certification and OSHA awareness.  His training as a First Responder, his knowledge of emergency preparedness, and his hands on experience allows him to deliver highly effective safety and disaster instruction.   

Mr. Ortiz is a Construction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST), the highest construction certification issued by the Council on Certification of Health, Environmental and Safety Technologists.

He is a member American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
